ABOUT THE ALBAYDHA HOUSING PROJECT
Driven by data, the Albaydha Housing Project is committed to alleviating poverty through equitable housing. Using high-participatory research, we are deeply vested in co-deciding key project parameters alongside the Albaydha community. Since 2017, we have served as the national pilot for developmental housing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Dear friends of Albaydha,
Over the last almost ten years, I have been personally deeply committed to and vested in the people of Albaydha. Side by side, we have studied and co-decided on how best to enable a sustainable future built on equitable housing for all families. We are delighted to be sharing the Albaydha Housing Project
to our friends,
stakeholders, the broader ecosystem of community impact and development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the rest of the world.

OUR IMPACT MISSION
We are deeply committed to a multi-layered impact model that is driven by deep listening data and authentic community inclusion.
1. Serve as a case study for sustainably exiting poverty through housing.
2. Meaningfully contribute to the global literature with our major investments in rigorous and scientific research.
3. Design and manage the Albaydha Housing Project in the spirit and humanity of Vision 2030.
4. Design and construct a community-centered masterplan, deeply informed by community voices.
5. Lead with a project governance driven by the diversity of community views, needs, and desires.
Our impact model has been designed in six interconnected and dynamic layers, making up a holistic system of change:
- Enabling families by deeply including them in all our research and decision-making governance.
- Preserving the identity and underlying mechanisms of the Albaydha community.
- Developing intangible culture by integrating the unique ways of home living to inform the designs of housing units and our masterplan.
- Ensuring fair allocation of land plots and houses to eligible families.
- Creating and offering public open source access to all our research and development.
- Activating partnerships in the name of excellence and commitment to humanity.
